More Than a Run: PMW Run 2026 Celebrates Community and Togetherness

Ipoh, 13 September 2026 – PMW Run 2026 welcomed approximately 800 participants for an energetic morning of fitness, connection and community spirit at Jabatan Belia dan Sukan Negeri Perak.

Initiated by PMW Sports Club, with the support of PMW International Berhad and its management, and Bagi Run Club as the appointed event organiser, the 5KM Fun Run was held under the theme “Running Together, Building Stronger Communities”.

YB Dato’ Khairudin Bin Abu Hanipah, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pendidikan, Pengajian Tinggi, Belia dan Sukan Negeri Perak, officiated the flag-off, gracing the event with his presence.

The morning began with an energetic warm-up session before participants set off on the 5KM route. After crossing the finish line, the excitement continued with refreshments, lucky draws and an interactive quiz on Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia, adding a timely celebration of national pride and unity ahead of Hari Malaysia.

More Than a Run

Beyond encouraging an active lifestyle, PMW Run 2026 provided a meaningful platform for employees, families, partners and members of the wider community to connect, engage and enjoy the experience together.

The programme also featured a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, which included the presentation of aid and donations. This added a greater purpose to the occasion, extending the spirit of togetherness beyond the run and into the community.

By promoting employee well-being, strengthening community connections and giving back to society, we continue to build a culture that puts people and responsible growth at the heart of our journey.
