World Environment Day is a global movement that encourages environmental awareness and inspires collective action towards a more sustainable future. As infrastructure continues to grow, the focus is no longer just on performance but on how materials, processes, and engineering decisions impact the environment. 

In conjunction with World Environment Day 2026, PMW International Berhad proudly brought together employees across our Ipoh manufacturing facilities to reaffirm our commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.   

The celebration began at the PMW Headquarters Lobby with an opening address by Chief Compliance & Strategic Business Officer, Tn. Haji Zulkepli Bin Hj Hussin, who emphasised the importance of protecting the environment and maintaining a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace. This was followed by an environmental awareness sharing session by our Head of OSHES, highlighting how everyday actions, such as reducing waste, conserving energy, and practising proper waste management, can make a meaningful difference.  

The event also featured a rewards and recognition session to appreciate the participation and commitment of PMW Group members, reflecting our belief that sustainability is a shared responsibility.  

Activities continued across 4 factories in Ipoh reinforcing our collective efforts towards environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices. 

At PMW Group, we believe that small actions can create a lasting impact. From adopting lower-carbon solutions to improving resource efficiency, every step towards sustainability contributes to a more resilient built environment.
