IPOH, PERAK – 29 JUNE 2026 – PMW International Berhad (“PMW” or the “Company”), an integrated infrastructure solutions provider, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, PMW Marketing Sdn. Bhd. (“PMSB”) has entered into a Supply and Delivery Agreement (“Agreement”) with Global Technological Support Sdn. Bhd. (“GTS”) worth approximately RM11.84 million, for the supply and delivery of pre-stressed spun concrete poles for the Point of Presence Phase 2 Infrastructure and Fibre Optics Hub Project (“POP2”).

A Point of Presence (POP) is the physical location where multiple networks or telecommunications devices connect to the rest of the internet and the POP2 Project is geared to directly expand Malaysia’s high-speed broadband infrastructure by developing its fibre-optics layer. The expansion of fiberisation is part of Malaysia’s Digital Framework 2030 and aims to deliver national 2030 infrastructure targets that include 100% internet access in all populated areas with extensive fibre-optics reach to both urban and rural premises, 95% 5G coverage rate in populated areas, and supporting the integration of fibre with AI advancements in the building of a secure, local sovereign cloud. These efforts are supported by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commissions (“MCMC”) and the Ministry of Digital, which has allocated approximately RM3.9 billion for the implementation of this project to create 3,693 POPs nationwide.

Key Highlights of the Agreement

The Agreement, in force till 31 October 2026, involves the supply and delivery of pre-stressed spun concrete poles for infrastructure works under the POP2 Project and is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s revenue and earnings for the financial year ending 31 December 2026. It is an expansion to the ongoing Phase 1 which has supported the development of POPs in Kedah, Perak, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka so far.

According to PMW International’s Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Lee Hon Hwa, “This Agreement reinforces PMW’s continuing participation in Malaysia’s telecommunications and digital infrastructure development ecosystem. As Malaysia progresses in broadband expansion and digital connectivity, we are pleased to contribute through the supply of infrastructure products that support fibre network deployment and last-mile connectivity initiatives.

We are particularly encouraged to secure this Agreement shortly after the RM11.92 million spun pile supply order from SL Virtue Sdn. Bhd. announced on 25 May 2026. These successive contract wins across both telecommunications and transportation infrastructure segments reflect growing customer confidence in PMW’s product quality, operational capabilities and delivery track record, while demonstrating the Group’s ability to participate in multiple infrastructure sectors supporting Malaysia’s long-term development agenda.””

Strategic Positioning & Outlook

The Agreement represents PMW’s continuing participation in the POP2 Project and reinforces its role as a supporting infrastructure solutions provider within Malaysia’s telecommunications and digital infrastructure ecosystem.

Beyond traditional utility and infrastructure applications, PMW’s spun concrete poles support fibre broadband deployment and telecommunications network expansion. Through its manufacturing facilities in Ipoh, Perak, the Group is well-positioned to support infrastructure projects requiring high-quality concrete pole solutions. The Agreement also reflects PMW’s long-standing relationship with GTS and further enhances the Group’s participation in one of Malaysia’s key digital infrastructure initiatives.

The Group remains optimistic on the outlook of Malaysia’s infrastructure sector, supported by continued investments in utility, telecommunications and digital infrastructure development and strengthens its participation across multiple infrastructure-related sectors, including utilities, telecommunications, transportation and foundation infrastructure. PMW believes ongoing broadband infrastructure programmes, fibre network expansion initiatives and national digital connectivity projects such as POP2 will continue to support demand for telecommunications infrastructure products and related supporting solutions.

Moving forward, PMW intends to leverage its engineering expertise, manufacturing capabilities and nationwide footprint to support critical infrastructure development projects while strengthening its position as an integrated infrastructure solutions provider.
